Children’s Storytelling workshop

In January 2024, we organised a storytelling workshop with a group of children from Sheppey. Here was the Giant whose greatest treasure was the soil. He taught the children about soil health and how the soil has as many living things in a handful of healthy soil as there are humans on the planet. The story telling was led by a group of amazing volunteer bards and storytellers who were tasked with understanding the local history of Sheppey and integrating it within immersive educational content for the children. This was a pilot event to start developing concepts for what is to come at Shurland Castle.
